Cultural and Environmental Commitment

We are proud to announce that Elope to Ningaloo has achieved recognition from the Tourism Council of Western Australia as a QUALITY TOURISM ACCREDITED BUSINESS, satisfying the Australian Tourism Accreditation Standard.

In addition, Elope to Ningaloo has also achieved accreditation as a SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS, acknowledging our dedication to the World Heritage listed environment in which we live.

Elope to Ningaloo acknowledges the Yinikurtura people, as the traditional custodians of the land where we work and live, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal people and of all communities who work and live on this land.

We consciously refrain from appropriating or attempting to represent ownership or custodianship of indigenous cultural knowledge and defer to those in the community who have such knowledge, or who are empowered to represent the traditional owners.

We are deeply committed to the preservation of the pristine Ningaloo environment as we help couples celebrate their love for each other through legal marriage.
